morzs, quiet them. First you do '/who NICK'. Then you copy the hostname into a '/mode #chan +q *!*@HOST', replacing the #chan and the HOST as appropriate.

morzs, '/mode #chan +m' mutes the whole channel. Only opped and voiced users are able to speak then. '/mode #chan -m' takes that off.

To be fair, using a bouncer to stay online is a fairly reasonable way to hold on to your primary nick and avoid anyone else using it :)
