Croydon: emails aren't lost, no. in rare cases when something is low priority, it just gets stuck there for a while, and it takes enormous amounts of effort -- when done at the wrong time -- to dispatch a reminder and to get it to reach the right people

barbanegra so after you register the bot account, you can ask staff to apply the cloak on its new account. you would have to get the bot to message a staffer with some message confirming that it's yours. staff are away from this channel for a few last hours so there may be a wait involved
